Dave and Carol talk about MLS

Ep 58: VAR and Other Disasters

Hey guys! Due to some scheduling and personal issues, we never managed to edit last week’s show or record one for this week. So rather than go two weeks without, we’re giving you last week’s show just a touch late. We took out the predictions, because week old predictions are kinda pointless. Anyway, this show we talk about VAR and the relationship between sports and disaster. We think you’ll enjoy this one. Looking forward to new episode next week!

This is where I’d usually put links to all the stuff we talked about, but I honestly don’t have them. Sorry about that.

Ep. 57: A Spanish Footballer in America

Hello faithful listeners! This week, Dave and Carol are very excited to welcome Antonio to the podcast. Antonio is a Spanish artist finishing up a year working in the US. He’s a lifelong football fan, and got the chance to go see the Cascadia Derby. He joins the show to talk to us about his experience at CenturyLink, as well as what football is like in Spain, and what they think of Americans out there. Also, we got some listener comments. Have at thee!

Ep. 56: Qualify This

It’s World Cup Qualifying! The USMNT lost this week to Costa Rica, which puts them in an entertaining (terrifying) position heading into the last three Hex games. Dave and Carol talk about what to expect out of the team for the rest of the year. Also, what happened to the Chicago Fire? What makes a great goal scorer? And is TFC the best team MLS has ever produced? All this and more this week!

Let’s not bury the lede… you’re all here to see SCOTT STERLING!!!!

And then here’s a whole bunch of articles from MLSSoccer.com, starting with Matt Doyle on the Chicago Fire’s collapse (among other topics):
