This is more like it. Let’s have a show before the weekend rather than after for once. This week, Dave and Carol take a deep dive into NYCFC’s stadium situation. Also, they take a look at whether or not the league would ever get fed up with the team sharing a stadium with the Yankees, and allow them to move to a different city. Then, what do charter flights have to do with the league, and how could they be important in the next CBA negotiations? All this and more!
Here’s a look at why NYCFC fans expect more long-distance “home” games:
And the Bleacher Report article from 2011 on which teams are, or rather were, ripe for relocation:

Here’s Paul Tenorio’s piece on how charter flights could effect the next CBA:

And finally, what does Chad Marshall look like when in an airplane?
The hits keep coming for the big guy. No recline either. Only a 6 hour flight though. Woooooo!!! #Cozy pic.twitter.com/LLmTcEt4IA

Hahaha… this is the first episode I’m listening to! My podcast feed says that episode 46 is the oldest episode that is available. Which episodes do you suggest for getting a hang of how football works?
We haven’t done any really specific tutorials, but our early episodes are probably a lot more newcomer friendly because we were still explaining concepts to Carol as well. I might suggest Episode 1: Team of Theseus, Episode 9: What’s a Leicester? and Episode 13: Soccer 101. Is there anything in particular you want us to cover?
